About billing
Ava is BeforeRound's AI interviewer. She speaks and listens in real time, adapts follow up questions to your answers, and plays the person who would actually run each round, from recruiter to engineering manager.
Most of them: LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, Workable, company career pages and job boards. If a page is behind a login, Ava searches for the posting instead. You can always paste the description yourself.
No. Your microphone is what matters. The camera is only shown to you, the way it would be on a video call, so you can practise eye contact and posture. Video is never recorded or uploaded.
Real mode runs like the actual interview: no hints, neutral reactions, full debrief at the end. Coach mode stops after each answer with quick feedback and offers a retry, which is better when you are still shaping your stories.
Only time on a live call with Ava counts, rounded to the second. Prep briefs, transcripts and debriefs are free (free accounts can prep one job, buying minutes unlocks more once it opens soon). If you end early, you only pay for the time you used.
Your CV, transcripts and debriefs are visible only to you. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models. You can delete any role or your whole account at any time from Settings.
A pack can be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase if none of its minutes have been used. If a call went wrong on our side, such as Ava dropping out, write to us and we will add the minutes back to your balance. See the refund policy for details.
No tool can promise that. What practice does reliably is remove surprises, tighten your stories and get the nerves out before the call that counts.
